Madagascar is one of my favourite countries to visit and I have been here at least 10 times. 2009 Benjamin helped me to arrange a family roundtrip on the island and I was so satisfied so he was entrusted with the task of organizing the following journeys, 2016 in southern Madagascar, 2021 in western Madagascar, 2022 in southern and eastern Madagascar with two grandchildren and 2024 in northern madagascar. Before every trip I work out a specified travel plan and I am impressed that during every journey the travel plan has been followed to 100%. Clever drivers and charming guides with good knowledges have been helping me to receive a great memory. There have always been a good cooperation between enclosed guide, local guides and drivers. There is much more for me to meet on this very special island and I am sure I will return in a couple of years. I will let Visit Mada Tours arrange the upcoming trips.

Hi Benjamin Thanks for your short feedback request. Well, unfortunately we are already back home, arrived in the daily life again. We had an absolutely unforgettable trip to a wonderful country with so many great impressions. Everything worked out perfect and as planned by you. The hotels you have chosen were superb, clean, with large rooms and good food all over. Driver Christian and Charles plus guide Donald were adorable, competent and always concerned about our wellbeing, always ready to satisfy our needs and very patient with the kids. The 2 cars we used were comfortable and in good shape, the driving was sometimes indeed long, but this is the issue because of the bad road conditions, especially on RN 7. The itinerary was well planned and not too stressful thanks to mostly staying 2 nights at the hotel with time to relax in the afternoon. The contact with you is very uncomplicated, efficient and solution-orientated, you are hyper-fast in responding whatsapp messages or mails, that is rare and proves that you have been in this business since long with lots of experience. The vegan foud request for the breakfast didn't go through that consequently but this is mostly due to the fact that the service personnel doesn't really know what "vegan" really means or cannot understand this dietary-related request. I must admit it is in fact quite complicated with a wife strictly living with this conviction she is stubbornly following... The only thing I would have changed is to stay one night longer in Isalo as the national park and the Hotel Jardin du Roi has so much to offer and the visit in Anja Community Reserve: I loved it there so much, I really wanted to profit from this place longer than only on a 2-hour-walk. I wanted to stay there overnight despite the security alert you mentioned, but it is all fine. We will book with you again, that is for sure. We really fell in love with Madagascar, therefore in the next 3-5 years I will get back to you to organise a trip to the northeast with a visit of Masoala NP. I will recommend you for sure if I have friends planning a trip to Madagascar. Best regards Reto

We had an absolutely wonderful experience in Madagascar, and I can wholeheartedly recommend Ben and his team. From the very beginning, everything was extremely well organized, and it was clear how much thought and effort had gone into making our trip run smoothly. We felt very well taken care of throughout the entire journey. A very special mention has to go to Mario, who was an outstanding guide. He took such good care of us, was always attentive and helpful, and made us feel completely safe throughout the trip. His knowledge, stories and explanations brought the places we visited to life and added so much depth to our experience. He truly made our journey through Madagascar even more special. Even to hardened African travellers, madagascar is a hard country to organise tours in. Many times the guide books are not updated (even the latest versions); the emails do not work ("address unknown") or the emails do not get any reply at all. Some replies arrive, but in french, of which my knowledge is limited. We found Come-Mada tours through one of the multiple internet searches we conducted when we were planning our trip last year, a one month trip though September into october 2006. His web site is informative, and the emails are always responded to very promptly, often in hours, and in good English. The tours offered are a good selection of those availible in Madagascar, now even hinting at Masoala. We ended up doing Three of out four tours with Come-mada East to perinet and onto Tamatave, (very recomended, west to morandava (Tsingy a must do, but maybe fly in), North east to Ampijora (excellent, but maybe drive there), and was very satisfied with all aspects. The drivers arrived timeously, could mostly speak english, and helped us wherever we were. The itineries were adapted to our specific requirements and the prices quite acceptable. Madegascar is a hard destination to plan. Benjamin offers you an accessible way to do it without going to the big tour companies that do not offer anything other than an doubling of the price. Ein wenig versp�tet zwar, aber immerhin von Herzen; Schon das zweite Mal war ich auf der sch�nsten Insel der Welt - und auch der n�chste Urlaub ist schon in Planung, selbstredend wiederum "made by Benjamin" bzw. individuell geplant organisiert. Ich spreche wohl auch f�r meine Freundin Dagmar, wenn ich sage, da� die Organisation - f�r ein Land wie Madagaskar zun�chst unwahrscheinlich erscheinend! - perfekt war. Wir hingen nicht ein einziges mal "in der Luft"!, alles war bestens geregelt, selbst das in Mailand verbliebene Gep�ck wurde uns durch Benjamins Hilfe umgehend "frei Haus" nachgeliefert. Wer Madagaskar erleben will, ist bei Benjamin bestens aufgehoben - das erscheint mir auch in Punkto Preis/Leistung so. Und wer irgendetwas in Madagaskar sehen will, was laut Reisef�hrer schwierig oder fast unm�glich ist; Benjamin organisiert es! Weiter so Benjamin, ich freue mich sehr auf unser n�chstes Wiedersehen in Tana...
