In Toamasin verbleven we in hotel Sharon. Wederom heeft Pascalle daar heerlijk in het zwembad gezwommen. Fijn hotel. Via Violin Zoo door naar Hotel Mamba Beach op het strand van Foulpointe. Wederom Paradijs. Fort Mamba bezocht en heerlijk gezont en gezwommen. Daar verbleven we 2 nachten. Benjamin, greets from Holland and thanks for the good arranged tour! It was hard for us to say goodbye to Charles en Tahiry after an intense week spend with them. Will you give our greetings to them? Greets for you too offcourse, from Manuela en Pascalle.

I travelled with Benjamin’s company in January, 2008, for five days. My tour guide, Andri and driver, Charles were excellent. Andri knew so much and could share part of his country with me and I felt very safe with Charles’driving. My trip was the East 3 day Indri tour to Andisibe and an extra day in Antananrivo. I thoroughly enjoyed driving through the countryside and learning so much from Andri about the Malagasy way of life.Everything was well planned and I saw so much in a very short time. I was initially a little worried about booking a trip over the internet as I was a woman travelling alone but with my experiences I would recommend this company. The creatures special to Madagascar were amazing - from tiny frogs to enormous moths, snakes, chameleons and of course the lemur and indri. A night time walk and a five hour walk in the forest for one whole morning were highlights - actually, there were many highlights, too many to mention. The airline lost my pack so I had no luggage for my time there. Andri took charge at the airport and dealt with the form filling and next morning I was taken to a shopping centre to get essentials. Benjamin and Andri both contacted the airport later,( I don’t speak French) on my behalf, to try to find my pack. Thank you all so much for a wonderful holiday.

Dear Benjamin, Sorry its taken so long for me to write to you, we have had problems with our internet for 4 months! We did the river trip by dugout canoe in Aug/Sept 2007 and just wanted to say what a fantastic time we had!. It was such a peaceful and beautiful trip and exceeded all our expectations. The canoe was very comfortable and the food which prepared for us each day was delicious, we were particularly impressed with his standards of hygiene and cleanliness. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend your company to anyone else visiting Madagascar, and we’d encourage anyone to visit Madagascar soon! Your organisation, planning and your communications before our trip all showed a dedication to customer service which is rare. So thankyou again, it was a very memorable honeymoon! We booked a car with a driver through Visit Mada tours for a 6-day drive from Tana to Tulear. We had an amazing trip in Madagascar and our driver, Luva, had a great deal to do with it. We do not speak French, so having an English-speaking driver was a huge help. In fact, he was more than a driver and helped us out a lot; finding english-speaking guides for national parks, giving advice on getting the best deals, telling us about Malagasy culture and customs... He was always on time and always ready to help. We were initially going to book a tour with another agency, but found them too expensive and not accomodating (e.g. the route is not possible, you can’t stay at budget hotels, etc). When we asked Benjamin about the same route, he said "anything’s possible". We were very glad we booked a car with a driver, as we had more flexibility. I would recommend booking with Benjamin’s company if you are thinking of driving around Madagascar (ask for Luva to be your driver, if possible). Thank you Benjamin and Luva for helping make our holiday amazing!

Hi, Benjamin Thought I’d drop you a line to let you know that we got home ok, although the Air Madagascar flight going via Milan meant that we missed our flights from Paris to the UK and had to buy seats on a later flight. Thank you for waiting around at Tana airport to make sure that we got away safely and thank you for arranging a brilliant holiday. To anyone thinking of travelling to Madagascar, particularly if you are horrified by the prices charged by European agencies, I would unhesitatingly recommend Visit Mada tours. Our time was limited and needed to accommodate my interest in scenery and wildlife, Ken’s interest in diving and our joint enjoyment of "offbeat" experiences. We therefore did the trip to Andasibe (Perinet), the pirogue trip down the Tsiribihina and on to Morondava and then a few days on Ile Sainte Marie with a final day’s sightseeing in Tana before the flights home. All the arrangements worked perfectly, we saw everything without feeling rushed, all the accommodation (including the tent) was good and Benjamin, John, the boat crew and drivers all looked after us really well. The highlight was probably the boat trip; lying out on the sandbanks at night, looking up at the stars, watching the sunrise and being treated to an impromptu display of dancing one lunch time. Being jumped on by lemurs in Andasibe was pretty good, too. The only disappointment was that the last whales had left Sainte Marie the day we arrived, but you can’t have everything!Lesley.Wooller@KPMG.co.uk

Dear Ben and Lova, we want to thank you for the fantastic holiday that you organized for us; we really appreciated the way that you had done it (the hotels, the relation between time to transfert and time to have relax during the tour, the car)! Your professionality and responsability permitted to enjoy very much the beautiful landscapes and wildlife that we had seen. Lova, our driver, was very helpful and managed to give us the best opportunities to discover the gorgeous Madagascar, we felt always in safe hands with him in each aspect and situation. We are very happy to confirm the good opinions of the others emails in this guestbook and we will be ready to answer to anyone wants information. Thanks a lot! Hi Benjamin We have been safe and sound back in Denmark for almost a week now, and it must be on time to give you some feedback. The river trip was really fantastic. It was even better than we thought it would be. We talked about that we actually didn’t quite know, what we expected. It was good that you hadn’t booked anyone else. That we found out. But of course you know more about it, than we do. Andry is a very good guide. The first time we noticed that was on our way to Antsirabe. As you might have heard we bumped right into a famadihana. That was fantastic. What an experience. Andry was really patient with us and let us take all the time we wanted. He told a lot about it, and he got quite good help from one of the locals. We arrived quite late at Antsirabe, but that was OK with us, because we had that great experience. It was nice, that he just let take the time. His timing on the Tsiribihirina was excellent. We virtually avoided any other tourists, because we started early. My wife and I had a full hour on our own at the waterfall. It was first when we had lunch, that other tourists turned up. I think they were 10-15 persons up there at the same time. At that time we just enjoyed ourselves with a good meal. Having that meal we could see how the other guides and boatmen did, when they prepared the lunch. Andry’s standards of hygiene is way, way above theirs. That was nice to see, that we had a good guide and boatman. Both of them were really good at spotting wildlife, and though we’re not birdwatchers, it was great, that Andry is so good at birds. That was really interesting. We really hope that you appreciate the skills, that Andry has, and show your appreciation. I think, that it’ll be difficult to find a guide as good and serious as him. He always tries to improve his English. The conclusion is however, that we are really satisfied with what you arranged for us, and we will recommed your company to everyone we meet. Madagascar and it’s people are fantastic. I would really love to go there again and see the northern part and ofcourse will contact you again. Best wishes and thanks Jan Justesen and Birthe Frederiksen.

WE recently returned from our 10 days in Madagascar and wow!!!!! What an adventure!!! We did the Eastern honeymoon tour, starting with 2 days in Andasibe, continuing to Manambato, then Akin’in Nofy, Tamatave, and finally several days in Ile Au Natte/Sainte Marie. First of all, I cannot rave enough about Benjamin and his staff. Ben picked us up from the airport in Tana. Every single thing about our trip ran with smooth precision. Our driver, Alin, was knowledgeable, kind and prompt. He was always there when we needed him. The trip itself.... I’m still getting my head around it - from having lemurs of all sorts climb and eat from your hand to watching humpback whales leaping out of the Indian Ocean, and everything in the between. Madagascar is a beautiful country with kind people. As an American couple knowing very little French, we were a bit worried about dealing with the language hassles, but there were enough people who spoke English and our limited "restaurant" French was enough to get by. There was so much to do and see!! All in all, a phenomenal trip. I’m working on putting together a blog with pics and videos and complete information about where we stayed and what we did. The link is rowanthefrog.blogspot.com. Thank you so much to Ben for answering my emails and allaying my concerns promptly. Thank you to Alin for his excellent driving and for telling us so much about his culture and country. We hope we will be back again in several years and when we return I’ll be emailing you Ben!!! We have recently returned from a two week vacation in Madagascar which included travelling down the Tsiribihina River, exploring the Tsingy of Bemaraha and "indri watching" at the Perinet Reserve (Andasibe). It was everything we expected and more... beautiful scenery, an amazing variety of flora and fauna, floating down the river in a dugout canoe, camping, hiking, bathing at a waterfall, and great food! It was a wonderful family adventure. This was definitely one of the most interesting and enjoyable trips we have ever been on largely thanks to Benjamin and Andry who did everything possible to make our stay memorable. We are only sorry we couldn’t have stayed longer and seen more of Madagascar. Geri, Sergio, Matteo and Alessandro Bologna, Italy
