TOUR ROUTES :

ANTANANARIVO - MAROANTSETRA - NOSY MANGA BE - MAROANTSETRA.

Day 1 : ANTANANARIVO - MAROANTSETRA – NOSY MANGA BE. (4km or 25 mn by motor boat)

Fly from Antananarivo to maroantsetra and meet our guide at the airport in Maroantsetra, then take you to the place where you will take a motor boat crossing to nosy manga Be reserve. This is not far from maroantsetra since the boat trip takes about 25 mn for 4 km distance. While you arrive at the reserve, you and your guide start to trek through the forest. This reserve homes lots of wildlife including different species of lemurs like mouse lemur, gray mouse lemur, Eastern woolly lemur, white-fronted brow lemur and black and white ruffed lemur. There are also several birds and a good number of reptiles and amphibians like leaf tailed geckos, frogs, sea turtles, chameleons (including the Brookesia), small snakes and even an endemic boa.

Day 2 : FULL DAY HIKING AT NOSY MANGA BE FOREST.

After morning breakfast, you and your personal guide to seek any species or photos you may have missed and then hike to some ancient graves of the first inhabitants of the island. Aside from the hiking, you can spend some time just lying on the wonderful beach and swimming just a few meters away from the rainforest. Night walk can be organized by the local guide.

Day 3 : NOSY MANGA BE - MAROANTSETRA – ANTANANARIVO.

After morning breakfast, take motor boat from nosy manga be back to maroantsetra and then transfer you to the airport and fly to from maroantsetra to tana.



 


NB: The main way of leaving Maroantsetra is by plane to Tana and you can purchase these local flight tickets through our agency. This tour can be organized combine with masoala parks.
