ANTANANARIVO - PERINET NATIONAL PARK - TOAMASINA - MAHAMBO BEACH - SAINTE MARIE ISLAND.

Day 1 : CAR FROM ANTANANARIVO TO PERINET NATIONAL PARK : 

After the morning breakfast from your hotel, Your personal driver will pick you up and take you to Andasibe national park . You will stop for 1 or 2 hours to visit the Reptile and Insect Reserve of Peyrieras in the middle way to perinet . This is quiet reserve hidden in the jungle . Your local guide will take you on a walk around the zoo explaining everything you see there including many species of beautiful butterflies and moths and different species of chameleons . There are also giant centipedes, pill bugs, crocodiles, geckos, frogs . You can watch and learn how many of the species are breed and grow up at the reserve and can even touch some of them too .
From here, you can have your lunch after your visits from the reserve place and then will drive slow down to Perinet National park .

Today's journey stops at the Andasibe National Park. After you have unpacked and rested in the bungalow style .
Your driver will introduce you to the local guide who will go with you for the night walk at Mitsindro Park .The visits will take about one or one half hour .

Day 2 : CAR FROM PERINET NATIONAL PARK TO TOAMASINA . 

Wake up early to breakfast at the hotel and then a guide will take you back into the lush forest . Listen to the music of the forest as it slowly wakes up . The unique calls of the Indris echo all around you as they call to each other high in the trees . These famous, large lemurs only live in this small area of Madagascar . It is a very special experience and will wake the naturalist in you .

ATTRACTIONS OF THE RESERVE :

* 62 groups of Indri. * 11 species of Lemurs. * Large chameleons, birds, boas. * Fire flies. * Orchid garden, rosewood, sacred liana.

Leave the Park behind as you set off in the car to Toamasina . Locally known as Tamatave it is the country's largest seaport . Toamasina streets are full of possy possy; their version of a hand drawn rickshaw . Taking one is a cheap and easy way to explore this busy city .

Day 3 : CAR FROM TOAMASINA TO MAHAMBO BEACH . 

After 30 minutes drive from Toamasina to ivoloina , you will stop at Ivoloina reserve for 2 hours to visit the ivoloina botanical garden . This is a small zoo set in pretty botanical gardens . Here you will see a small selection of the flora and fauna typically found in eastern Madagascar; including a large collection of giant tortoises . The highlight is hand feeding the tame lemurs that wander freely around the zoo .

ARRIVE IN MAHAMBO BEACH :

Your day stops at Mahambo beach , 86 km north of Toamasina, your first taste of paradise . The secluded bungalow style accommodation is right on the white sandy beach . Due to its tropical vegetation, the area has a sort of otherworldly beauty . This is a great place to sit back and relax and is also safe for swimming . Please note that you can spent your few days here instead to go to sainte island if you have limited budget for the trip because our driver always ready to wait for you and take you back with the car to tana .

Day 4 : CAR FROM MAHAMBO TO SOANIERANA IVONGO THEN BOAT TO SAINTE MARIE ISLAND .

The road to Soanierana Ivongo follows the coast and takes a few hours . You visit this village just to wait for the boat to take you to Sainte Marie Island . This boat trip takes a couple of hours .

ARRIVE AT SAINTE MARIE ISLAND .

Your tour with us ends here and you will now be independent . There are many taxi drivers and hotel representatives working on the pier . Generally the south and the north of the island have the best beaches . we suggest you to hire a motorbike or cycle to visit around the island in one or two days .
